Got to hike and saw a rattlesnake slither across the path. We freaked.
I got to see the most beautiful sunset of my life. It was at a high place in the McDowell's and looked like something out of lord of the rings. Unfortunately it meant the sun was going down so mom and I had to run the last 1.5 miles. Mostly completely in the dark. No lights. No phones. It was so dark I'm glad we made it home.
On sunday I slept in for probably the first time in two weeks and went to a church choir/orchestra barbecue. It was a typical backyard 70s ranch home party. Nothing special. Volleyball, bocce, and conversation. It was so much fun. It helped me feel SOO much better and ready to conquer more school.
