Changes

Last week a really sad thing happened. My friend Mitchell died and its been a crazy thing trying to deal with that. I had a lengthy post in the works, but for some reason can't access it from mobile Blogger.. so I thought something was better than nothing. I can always post it later.

Well school started yesterday and I'm not sure how I feel about it either. A lot of things changed over the summer. Changes equally good as they were bad. Especially in the old friends department. I hate drama that doesn't go away. I'm not a dramatic person believe it or not. I'm easy to be around. I would rather forget than confront and unfortunately sometimes when you have to confront, things linger in the air for a while! I would rather burn bridges but that's not the way either.

Mitchell's funeral was today and I missed it because I was flying to Minnesota. I'm here visiting cousins and was greeted with just an overwhelming sense of change. People grow up, even your cousins. And it can be hard when you think YOU never change.
I also found out my friend's dad just committed suicide, so this has been a week from H-E double hockey sticks.

Well. This post has turned out to be quite existential!!! On the bright side, it poured for about 2 hrs today!! On fb I noticed everyone in AZ sayin that too. It's proven fact that when one of the Ontiveros' leave the state, it rains. But I'm glad I got to see the rain here.
