The next day my throat felt a little funny. And this carried on until Tuesday. Wednesday I was 'legit sick' also, and felt SUPER crummy and was scrambling to do all my homework in time for Thursday. Stayed home from school on Thursday. Stayed home from school all day today watching a House marathon, and finished off the day watching Bizet's 'Carmen' on the DVR. Dad was super angry to hear opera, so I decided to practice piano.

The lesson here is: you shouldn't secretly wish to be sick on a Sunday night--needing to wake up in 5 hours--because you might actually become sick and feel crappy.
