Skirts and cleats.. yeah nbd.

I've been shooting in manual lately. I found my mom's old camera from her high school years and have been SO inspired to shoot in 35 mm again! To learn the feel of not using auto, I've turned off the picture preview on my Canon Rebel XTi, and kept it on 'manual' mode. When I graduate to the film camera, I'll probably be posting pictures. :D

Hymns

To improve my sight-reading skills for piano, I sit down and play 3 hymns every day. I'm using this book. It's a really great concept: hymns are listed in order by year, and with every hymn comes 2-3 paragraphs explaining the history behind the writer/year. I highly recommend this book! I even feel like I'm getting a history lesson behind the world's greatest hymn writers, while experiencing beautiful worship music.
