today it was wayy cold.
And the sky was hazy and all the colors were faded and false like a tungsten filter.
So, naturally, I got home and listened to Robert Plant's solo album "The Principle of Moments" on vinyl.
Not his best work, but there's about 3 great songs.
This played through my head all day.

I found a mix tape in the gutter at my high school bus stop. This song was on it. Also, lots of Talking Heads and REM. It was a well-played mix tape. This song takes me back to high school. High school circa 1990. Great song. I wish people still made mix tapes. It was such a fun hobby/discipline/form of communication.
Talking Heads!!! ohh so much love.
love those moments.
I have a full box of the mixtapes my dad made in college. soph-junior year I WORE out my Elton John, Hall & Oats, and Alan Parsons Project mixtapes. I love listening to music my dad recorded from scratchy records he stole from roomates. hahahah
I remember waiting around listening to the radio so that when my favorite song started to play I could push record and "own" it. That was early music pirating.
ah!! I've done that.
Kids these days miss out on soo much
